Understanding IzanDeals Listing Status: Pending, Active and Sold
New sellers are sometimes confused by listing statuses. Here is exactly what each one means and what to do.
When you post a listing on IzanDeals, it goes through several statuses before and after it sells. Here is what each status means.
Pending
Your listing has been submitted and is waiting for review by the IzanDeals admin team. This process typically takes a few hours. During this time, your listing is not visible to buyers. You will receive a notification once it is approved.
Active
Your listing has been reviewed and approved. It is now visible to all buyers and will appear in search results and category pages. This is the status you want.
What to Do When Your Listing Is Active
Share it on WhatsApp, respond promptly to enquiries and update the description if buyers ask the same questions repeatedly.
Sold
Once a buyer has completed payment through IzanDeals, your listing is automatically marked as sold. Sold listings are no longer visible in search results.
Inactive
A listing that has been deactivated either by you or by the admin team. This may happen if the listing violates a platform policy. If you believe your listing was deactivated in error, contact support.
Updating a Live Listing
You can edit your listing title, description, price and photos at any time while it is active. Updating your listing can also improve its visibility in search results.
