This process results in flavorful Serrano Ham of a consistent, high quality. El Cerro Serrano Ham is made using a traditional, all-natural recipe of pork ham and sea salt with no added nitrites or nitrates. Serrano is generally less fatty than its Italian counterpart, Prosciutto, giving it a firmer texture and a more intense salty, meaty flavor.
